Amy Judkins, Esq.

Amy L. Judkins is a nationally recognized trial attorney and advocate for children and victims of sexual abuse, exploitation, and online harm. Her career is grounded in survivor-centered advocacy and a commitment to holding institutions and corporations accountable for failures that place children at risk.

Amy has served as lead trial counsel in a landmark sexual-misconduct case involving a professional tennis athlete, securing a $9 million jury verdict on behalf of the victim. She has also tried cases involving the wrongful death of a minor. Most recently, Amy is counsel in the first-ever wrongful death lawsuit filed against an artificial-intelligence technology company, alleging that the company aided and encouraged the suicide of a minor. The case further alleges that the minor was exposed to sexually explicit and abusive material through the AI platform, raising urgent questions about child safety, content moderation, and the responsibilities of technology companies whose products interact with minors.

In addition to her litigation work, Amy is actively engaged in legislative advocacy focused on child protection. She has spent time in Washington, D.C. lobbying members of Congress in support of legislation aimed at protecting children from online predators, sexually explicit digital content, and unsafe algorithm-driven platforms. Her advocacy emphasizes the need for enforceable safeguards, transparency, and accountability in both physical and digital environments where children live, learn, and interact.

Amy is a strong proponent of creating safe spaces for children—on and off-line—and brings a trauma-informed, victim-centered perspective to litigation, policy reform, and institutional change. She currently serves in leadership roles in complex national litigation and is widely recognized for her work on behalf of vulnerable children and survivors.

Amy has been recognized by National Trial Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 and Top 100 Trial Lawyer, by TopVerdict for one of Florida’s Top 20 Jury Verdicts, and as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
