Welcome to The Hamilton Library!
The Hamilton Library is an expertly curated collection of materials on child sex abuse for everyone. The Library was stocked to inform and support victims, parents, teachers, clergy, researchers, attorneys, doctors, the media, and youth-serving organizations. We hope you will find these materials informative and helpful. For survivors, there is a well-being section we encourage you to visit.
The Hamilton Library is continually updated and free and open to the public. Please enter from the comfort of your own home and browse away!

I started CHILD USA in 2016 to be a resource for child protection — especially for the victims of child sex abuse. We put together social science data, legal analysis, and medical facts to come up with the best policies to end child abuse and neglect. This portal is intended to be a welcoming and comforting space for you to learn more about a difficult, but important subject, child sex abuse. In my mind, it is a library filled with wisdom, information, and, if we achieve our goal, healing.
Why would we build a library for child sex abuse survivors and those who deal with children? Because knowledge is power, and the mission of CHILD USA is to empower children now and those who were harmed as children. The more everyone understands, the better for all of us.
Our portal is a curated list of books (fiction and nonfiction), documentaries, videos, articles, and online resources divided into 9 categories: Survivor/General, Families & Caregivers, Sports & the Arts, Schools, Legal, Religious, Well-being, Finances, and Hotlines. In addition, we have a weekly “Question and Answer” feature with a noted survivor or expert in the field. And this is just the beginning, as we will continue to add resources as we go! Please do contact us if you have recommendations for materials to add, at email@example.com.
Whether you are a survivor, a family member, or someone who works with children like a coach, a teacher, or clergy, this is a place where I hope that you can browse, learn, and relax in peace. Instead of randomly googling for information, we have done the research to find materials that are respected, illuminating, and informative.
Now, for those who are survivors, some of these materials may be triggering, so please peruse at your own speed and first and foremost protect your own well-being. If the only category that works for you for now is “well-being” so be it!
All the best to you from CHILD USA on your journey of exploration —
Prof. Marci A. Hamilton
CEO, CHILD USA
