CHILD USA filed this brief in the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in support of plaintiff-appellant’s appeal for reversal of the District Court’s dismissal. Here, CHILD USA argues that the District Court’s interpretation of Masha’s Law is not consistent with the nature of the injury caused by the distribution of child sexual abuse materials (“CSAM”) and that this misreading of Masha’s Law creates a dangerous precedent inconsistent with the Law’s remedial purpose. CHILD USA asks this Court to allow the Plaintiff-Appellant’s claims to proceed.
